Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
- For Decoration:
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil or shortening
- ¼ cup white chocolate chips or candy melts
- Oval-shaped cookie cutter (~3-inch)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment.
2. Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Whisk in sugar until glossy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
4. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Add chocolate chips if using.
5. Spread batter into pan. Bake 35–40 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly soft.
6. Cool completely, then cut into football shapes using an oval cutter.
7. Melt milk chocolate with coconut oil. Dip brownies top-down and let set.
8. Melt white chocolate, transfer to piping bag, and pipe laces onto coated brownies.
