Description
Football Stadium Cookies are sugar cookie ovals decorated with green icing, yard lines, and pretzel goalposts. They’re the ultimate themed dessert for football fans.
Ingredients
- 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3–4 tablespoons milk
- Green food coloring
- White decorating gel
- Pretzel sticks
- Mini chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt separately. Gradually add to butter mixture until combined.
3. Roll into 2-inch balls, flatten into ovals on parchment-lined trays.
4. Bake at 375°F for 12-15 minutes. Let cool completely.
5. Mix powdered sugar and milk to form icing. Tint with green food coloring.
6. Spread icing over cooled cookies. Add white gel yard lines, pretzel stick goalposts, and chocolate chips as lights.
