Description
Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats combine nostalgic cereal magic with gooey marshmallow goodness for the ultimate no-bake dessert bar. Perfect for parties, gifting, or a colorful kitchen adventure!
Ingredients
- 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional drizzle)
- Extra Lucky Charms marshmallows (for topping)
Instructions
1. Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray. Measure cereals into a large bowl.
2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until mostly melted. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
3. Fold cereal mixture into marshmallow mixture using a folding motion to avoid crushing the cereal.
4. Transfer mixture to the prepared pan and press gently into an even layer using wax paper or lightly damp hands.
5. Let set for 10 minutes, then cut into squares using a damp cloth-wiped knife. Optional: drizzle with melted white chocolate and top with extra marshmallows.
Notes
- Don’t overheat marshmallows, remove from heat while slightly lumpy for best texture.
- Substitute coconut oil or vegan butter for dairy-free.
- For gluten-free treats, use gluten-free Rice Krispies and certified gluten-free Lucky Charms.
